What is Churchill Estates? Churchill Estates is an active independent community for people age 55 or better with one and two bedroom apartment homes. Churchill Estates offers personal fitness training, gourmet dining with an executive chef, a bistro for lighter fare, an amazing wellness center with resource library, housekeeping services, and a concierge in a highly desirable location that requires zero maintenance. At Churchill Estates, you can enjoy an enriched lifestyle, make social contacts, explore new interests and generally enjoy a higher standard of living than you ever imagined without the headaches and upkeep of home ownership. Is there a buy in or entrance fee? No buy in is required. Churchill Estates offers financial freedom for our residents to invest their savings as they choose. A one-time community fee of $2,500 is required in order to reserve your apartment home. How much does it cost? Monthly rates will vary by floorplan, location and availability. Our team can provide you with current rates based on the apartment home you choose that best fits your preferences and needs. What is included in the monthly rate? The monthly rate includes all exterior and interior maintenance of your apartment home including the professionally designed and beautifully manicured grounds and gardens, weekly housekeeping services, a $300 flexible spending account, community amenities including our wellness center equipped with a wellness resource library, personalized fitness programs, swimming pool, recreational, educational and social activities, game rooms, theater, billiards, art studio and scheduled transportation. Will the monthly rate increase? It is reasonable and typical to expect annual increases of the monthly rate to offset increases in operating costs. Increases have typically averaged between three to five percent annually. Is there an extra fee for a second person? Because each person will enjoy the many amenities and services, including one meal per day, there is a $500 monthly fee for a second person. Can I get more than one meal per day and entertain guests? Yes. Dining services are available throughout most of the day. Anyone can purchase additional meals and snacks from a menu of items with pricing. Residents and their guests can also purchase lighter fare and snack options available in the bistro. What types of activities and programs will be offered? Churchill Estates offers a wide variety of activities, programs and events that are important and enjoyable to you, our resident. We will have an extensive monthly calendar of activities and events available that are designed for our residents to enjoy current interests and hobbies and also explore new ones. Planned excursions to museums, local attractions, sporting events, shows, concerts and more will also be available for your enjoyment. What type of security and emergency response do you have? The community will be gated along with controlled access to the building through a card that residents scan at the door for entry. Guests must enter by calling the apartment they are visiting from the front gate or by checking in at the concierge. We will also have a nightly courtesy patrol. Do you provide medical services? As an independent living community, we do not provide medical services. However, we will have an on-site home health service provider and resident lifestyle coordinator available to assist you in securing any necessary resources or services you need. How do I reserve my apartment home? You will select the available floorplan and location of your choice and provide the refundable deposit and one-time community fee to reserve your new home. What if I decide not to move in? If you decide to cancel your reservation, you would receive a refund of your deposit less the $2,500 community fee. |
